On February 1, a Regional Youth Conference dedicated to February 2 - Azerbaijan Youth Day was held under the organization of YAP Ganja city organization.

First, the participants of the event visited the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, laid flowers in front of the monument and commemorated the dear memory of the Great Leader with deep respect and reverence.

The National Anthem was played at the Regional Youth Conference held in the assembly hall of the YAP Ganja city organization, and the dear memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the sons of the Motherland who rose to the top of martyrdom for the freedom of our land was commemorated with a minute's silence.

Nurettin Ibrahimov, deputy chairman of YAP Ganja city organization, who opened the event with his opening speech, congratulated the youth on the occasion of February 2 - Azerbaijan Youth Day. He said that the Youth Day, which is one of the significant events of the socio-political life of Azerbaijan, was founded by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and that it is an example of great trust and attention to the youth of Azerbaijan. Nureddin Ibrahimov also noted that it is commendable that the vast majority of the country's young people see a wide space in this organization to demonstrate their potential by linking their future destiny to the New Azerbaijan Party, which was founded by Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and is currently successfully led by President Ilham Aliyev. The majority of the 800,000 members of the New Azerbaijan Party, about 40 percent, are young people. They are active in all spheres of the country's life, they try to contribute to the realization of newly defined goals. The young people of Azerbaijan united closely around the head of state, Muzaffar Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, and demonstrated to the world the greatness of their love for the land during the 44-day Patriotic War.

Participating in the event were Elnur Hasanov, a young researcher-scientist of the Ganja branch of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANSA), film director Ramil Agasiyev, Zafar Mammadov, chairman of the "Ganja Businessmen" Public Union, Nurlana Zeynalova, head of the Javadkhan ASM-branch, Olympic champion Togrul Asgarov and 44 days of Vatan. War veteran Metin Abdinov made speeches on topics of interest to young people and answered their questions. Then an appeal to the President was accepted on behalf of the conference participants.

At the event, party cards were presented to young people who were newly accepted into the ranks of YAP, and an honorary decree of YAP Ganja city organization was presented to a group of young people for their active participation in social and political life. Among those young people there are two medical teachers of Ganja Medical College - Nabiyeva Nigar Eyvaz and Guliyeva Mehpara Faig, as well as Namazov Orkhan Kahraman, the operator of the college, and Mammadzade Sevinj Muhammed, a 2nd year student.

The event continued with an artistic part and a commemorative photo was taken.
