Organized by New Azerbaijan Party Ganja city organization, Ganja Regional Culture Department, Ganja city Heydar Aliyev Center and library branch number 16 of Ganja city MKS, with the support of Ganja city Youth and Sports General Department within the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" 2015-2025 In connection with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the approval of the Development Strategy of Azerbaijan's youth, an event was held on the topic of "Turning a healthy lifestyle into a habit" on "Organizing the leisure time of young people". Students of Ganja Medical College also participated in this event.

The dear memory of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who died for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a minute's silence.

Nurettin Ibrahimov, deputy chairman of the Ganja city organization of the New Azerbaijan Party, who opened the event with an opening speech, said that one of the main directions of Azerbaijan's state policy in recent years is youth policy. The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, who is a student of the political school of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, taking into account these criteria, has great faith in the youth for the sake of the transformation of our country into a powerful state, and state programs are adopted in order to create high conditions for them in our country.

The host of the event, Mirvari Jafarova, head of the library branch, gave detailed information about the rules of a healthy lifestyle.

Hamid Nasirov, head of Ganja City Youth and Sports Department, said in his speech that youth is the leading force of society. Azerbaijani youth is distinguished by its active activity in all spheres of public life. A healthy youth means a healthy generation. After Azerbaijan regained its historical independence, especially after the return of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to power at the insistence of the people, purposeful reforms were started for the sake of educating the country's youth in a healthy spirit and forming them as true citizens.

Ilknur Iskenderova, deputy director of the Heydar Aliyev Center in Ganja city, noted that the main goal of today's event is to make the young generation understand the healthy lifestyle and take care of their health, away from harmful habits.

Head of the Ganja Regional Office of the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency, Muzadil Hasanov, the curator of the Western Region of the Judo Federation, Asif Hasanov, the head of the Children's and Youth Sports and Chess School No. 2 in Ganja, Ramil Gasimov, the winner of the 15th Summer Paralympic Games in 2016, the director of the Ganja Olympic Sports Complex. Intigam Huseynov, climbers Ramil Valiyev and Turan Ahmadov informed young people about the benefits of the sports they practice.

It was noted at the event that the main mission of every state is to form a generation whose future it will trust. Youth means great strength, great dreams, great hopes and common sense. Every young person should highly appreciate the attention and care of the state, should know the value of the opportunities and opportunities created for them, should try to be useful for their family, homeland and society. Speakers invited young people to make a healthy lifestyle a habit.
