The Student-Health Spartakiad dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, held among students of higher and secondary educational institutions, has come to an end. Last week, the final award ceremony of the series of sports competitions was held. The students of Ganja Medical College showed high results in this spartakiade.

    Hamid Nasirov, head of Ganja City Youth and Sports Department, made a speech at the event and congratulated the sportsmen who won the Spartakia. At the end, the winners were awarded by the General Administration with trophies, honorary certificates and letters of thanks.

   It should be noted that students of 3 Universities, 3 Colleges, and 6 Vocational Schools competed in the competition.

   Students of Ganja Medical College won 1st place in Checkers, 2nd place in Volleyball, 2nd place in Chess, 2nd place in Tennis, 2nd place in Basketball, 1st place in Football, 2nd place in Athletics were awarded the 2nd place.
