A meeting dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev was held in the Scientific and Medical Library of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Library representatives from all regions of the republic were invited to the event. The librarian of Ganja Medical College, Ruziya Mammadova, also participated in the meeting.

   The event began with a one-minute silence commemoration of national leader Heydar Aliyev and the souls of our martyrs who died for the freedom of our lands.

    Then a video was shown about the life and activities of the genius. Those who spoke at the meeting talked about the great role of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the development of science and education. It was emphasized that during the leadership of the great personality, considerable work was done in the financing and development of libraries in Azerbaijan. It was also noted that in those years, our National Library embarked on a path of great development.
