On May 18, employees of the Ganja branch of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations (SCC) held an educational event with students of the Ganja Medical College on the topic "Essence of radical religious trends and their psychological impact on young people." The meeting was attended by Hasan Mammadov, head of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations in Ganja region, deputies Elmar Fataliyev, Faig Askerov, chief adviser Shahmar Verdiyev, director of Ganja Medical College Mehman Rzayev, doctors, teachers and students.

     During the speeches at the event, it was emphasized that religious fanaticism, radicalism and extremism are one of the biggest problems of today's society. Measures taken by the state to protect teenagers and young people from radical religious influences were discussed. At the same time, it was stated that today in our country everyone has the right to freedom of conscience and religion, no racial, national, religious and sectarian discrimination is allowed.
