On May 10, 2023, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, a grand concert program was organized by Ganja City Executive Authority. At the concert held in front of the "Triumph Arch" in the Heydar Aliyev "Park-Hiyaban" Complex, the head of Ganja City Executive Niyazi Bayramov, Turkish Consul General in Ganja Recep Oztop, members of parliament, heads of law enforcement agencies, responsible employees of the Ganja City Executive Head's Office, Ganja Management, staff and students of the Medical College, heads of other departments, institutions, organizations, families of martyrs, participants in the war and residents of the city also participated. Lala Azertash, the well-known presenter, announced the concert program and noted that the great leader Heydar Aliyev's unparalleled services to the people and the state constitute the glorious pages of the history of Azerbaijan. Our National Leader, who always accepts the highest interests of his nation and state as the basic principle and norm in his activities, is the architect of today's independent Azerbaijan. State building, economic revival, and progress in social and political life in Azerbaijan are connected with the name of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The Great Leader Heydar Aliyev successfully brought Azerbaijan as a state and our people as a nation out of the harsh and harsh trials of history, saved our country from the danger of disintegration, and created a solid foundation for the development of our republic. In the concert program, the soloists of the Ganja State Philharmonic, People's Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahnaz Hashimova, Honored Culture Worker Mehpara Jafarova, soloists Vasif Bayramov, Ilham Gasimov, Rovshan Mammadov, Rustam Jafarov performed patriotic songs dedicated to the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and independent Azerbaijan. The dances presented by the "Goygol" State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Ganja State Philharmonic named after F. Amirov, whose artistic director is Sahil Guliyev and ballet master Sanan Javadov, as well as the children's dance ensemble "Khamsa" were received with interest by the audience. Later, the famous Turkish singer Rafet El Roman appeared on the stage. He performed his favorite songs in his repertoire for the residents of Ganja. At the end of the concert, the Turkish singer presented the song "You are such a peak" dedicated to the Great Leader, with lyrics by Baba Vaziroglu and music by Kamal. To the sound of the song, a video dedicated to the life of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was shown on the screen installed on the stage. The concert program ended with spectacular fireworks.
