Student life


Ganja Medical College is the oldest educational institution among the medical colleges in our Republic. This educational institution has been operating since 1931. Currently, our college trains medical personnel in 7 specialties. has been the center of attention.

At present, it has been possible to conduct classes with the help of "SMART-BOART" type electronic boards. This allows to demonstrate the latest achievements of medicine in a visual and practical way. Discipline is strictly observed in the course of teaching in the college.

"January 20 - Day of Sorrow", "February 26 - Khojaly Genocide", "March 8 - International Women's Day", "March 20 - 21 - Nowruz Holiday", "March 31 - Azerbaijani Genocide Day", May 9 - Victory over German fascism day", "May 10, National Leader Heydar Aliyev's birthday", "May 28 Republic Day" were held and the entire staff of our college actively participated in these events.

On 13.01-15.01.2017, a scientific-practical seminar on "Neonatal Resuscitation training" and "Breastfeeding counseling" was held with the cooperation of the Turkish TİKA company. The aim of the seminar is to increase scientific knowledge among students and demonstrate the latest scientific experimental achievements. 2nd and 3rd year students of the college, teachers and heads of departments on the subject "Children's diseases" took part in the seminar.

The management of the college holds joint meetings with the teaching staff once a week, they discuss various issues. In addition, meetings are held with the student body once a week. In these meetings, discussions are held with the students about the rules of conduct, table manners, speech culture, etc.

The students of our college tested their physical skills in various sports in the spartakiades organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan.


2017 year

During the academic year, the following events were held in the college:

On 12.12.2017, on the occasion of the "Memorial Day" of our Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, the teachers and students of our college commemorated the dear memory of our National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

31.12.2017, on the occasion of "Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis of the World and 01 January New Year", a New Year's holiday was held in the gym of the college. The administration of the college, teachers and students took part in this holiday.


2018 year

On the occasion of the anniversary of "January 20" tragedy, a night dedicated to the memory of the martyrs was held in our college. On the night of the 19th to the 20th, the memory of the martyrs who died for the freedom of our people, independence and territorial integrity of our country was commemorated with a minute of silence.

On February 26, 2018, a meeting dedicated to the Khojaly Genocide Memorial Day was held. At the meeting, the memory of the martyrs in Khojaly was commemorated with a minute of silence. Artistic compositions dedicated to the "Tragedy of Khojaly" were shown by the students.

On 08.03.2018, the International Women's Day is solemnized every year. Female teachers, who make up the main part of our team, were congratulated by the management of the college and the Trade Union Organization.

On 16.03.2018, an event was held in the assembly hall of the college on the occasion of Novruz holiday. The administration of our college and teachers participated in the event. The director of the college M.E. Rzayev congratulated everyone on the occasion of this holiday and some teachers were presented with "Decrees of Honor" and monetary awards.

A conference was held in Ganja on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the birth of Academician Zarifa Aliyeva. The director of Ganja Medical College M.E. Rzayev and the teaching staff participated in that conference. Also, a scientific-practical conference was held in our college on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the academician's birth. All teachers and students participated in the conference.

On 12.06.2018, the exercise "Warning and Gathering" of the Civil Defense units was held. The Civil Defense forces were informed about the rules of conduct during the FH. The rules for using rescue equipment and protection from disasters, first aid, and the use of fire extinguishers were explained to the employees in a visual and practical way. The warning signals installed in the college have been activated.

In 2017-2018, major renovation works performed in the college, purchase of new educational materials and equipment have completely changed the face of the educational institution in accordance with the modern era. Our goal is that our college should be an exemplary educational institution among other medical colleges.

One of the main tasks facing the Ganja medical college is the proper organization of the educational work of future medical workers together with teaching. The formation of students as a patriotic personality, the preservation of the national moral values of the future medical workers, the formation of compassion for their profession, ideas of moral purity and perfection, and the ability to work freely. and the creation of love for work, measures that ensure comprehensive development of modern youth, such as science, outlook, and personality, are reflected in the work plan of teachers.


2018 year

At the beginning of the school year, September 17 "Knowledge Day" was solemnly celebrated in the yard of our college. The director of our college, M.E. Rzayev, congratulated the newly admitted students on the occasion of the beginning of the school year.

On the first day of training, students were given group lectures about the life and work activities of the National Leader of the Azerbaijan People, Heydar Aliyev, and his work and sacrifice for the establishment of today's independent Azerbaijan State.

On 11.10.2018, an event called "Health", "Health and endurance", "Main elements of mental and emotional health" prepared by the Student Youth Organization was held. The event was held in the assembly hall of our college with the participation of 10 teachers and 115 students. Health and Speeches related to physical actions were heard.

On 25.10.2018, a seminar organized by the Student Youth Organization was held under the name "Direction of prevention of human trafficking" and "Fight against human trafficking". Speeches about human trafficking and violence were heard at the seminar.

On 01.11.2018, a meeting was held with students on the topic of "Combating human trafficking and violence" under the organization of TGT. The meeting was held in the assembly hall of our college with the participation of teachers and students. Speeches about human trafficking and violence were heard.

On 08.11.2018, an event organized by the Student Youth Organization was held under the title "How alcoholic beverages affect a person", "Effects of alcohol consumption on health". The event was held in the assembly hall of our college with the participation of 10 teachers and 120 students. Speeches were heard at the event.

On 27.11.2018, a scientific-practical conference on the subject "Anatomy - physiology and pathology" was held. The conference was held in the assembly hall of the college with the participation of the teaching staff.

A scientific-practical conference dedicated to the day of fighting AIDS on December 1 was held in our college on November 28, 2018. In addition to the teaching and student staff of the college, an employee of the Resublika AIDS center also participated in the conference.

On 29.11.2018, a meeting called "On Drunkenness" and "Damage of Alcoholic Beverages" organized by TGT was held. Students' reports were heard at the meeting.

On 05.12.2018, a seminar on "Fighting drug addiction" was held. The chief of the city police department made a speech at the seminar.

On 11.12.2018, an educational event jointly organized by Ganja Medical College and the Ganja Regional Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held in the assembly hall of our college. The event was attended by teachers and students. The event was dedicated to the memorial day of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev. The national anthem was played, and the dear memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev was commemorated with a 1-minute silence. The teaching staff and students were given detailed information about the increasing number of natural disasters occurring in the world in the modern era. On 20.12.2018, a meeting was held under the name "Fight against narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances", Harmful habits and their consequences" organized by TGT. Students' speeches were listened to and questions were answered.

On 21.12.2018, Ganja Medical College opened an "Electronic library" to help young people in their studies.

On 27.12.2018, an event called "Effects of smoking on health" and "Terrors of smoking" organized by the Student Youth Organization was held. The event was held in the assembly hall of our college with the participation of teachers and students. At the event, reports were heard and questions were answered.

On 27.12.2018, a solemn New Year's holiday was held in the gym of the college on the occasion of December 31 "Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and January 1 New Year".

2019 year

On 18.01.2019, a meeting was held in our college in connection with the "January 20" tragedy. The dear memory of our martyrs was commemorated at the meeting.

On 31.01.2019 and 01.02.2019, the project "Social activity and volunteering fund among medical students" was held. Certificates were presented to active students who participated in the project.

On 02.02.2019, on the occasion of "Youth Day", a meeting was held with the head of the Ganja City Executive Authority, Niyazi Bayramov. At that event, active students of our college demonstrated the college's exhibition.

On 21.02.2019, a meeting was held with students under the title "Advice to smokers", "Harmful effects of smoking", organized by the Student Youth Organization. The meeting was held in the assembly hall of our college with the participation of teachers and students. Reports were listened to and questions were answered.

On 25.02.2019, an event dedicated to the "Tragedy of Khojaly" was held. The ceremony was first opened by the Deputy Director of Educational Affairs of the college, K. Y. Gurbanov, and the memory of those who died in Khojaly was commemorated with a 1-minute silence.

On 26.02.2019, in connection with the "Khojaly Genocide", the faculty and students of the college gathered in front of the monument erected in memory of Khojaly martyrs and laid flowers in front of the monument.

On 28.02.2019, a meeting was held with students on the topics "On the fight against non-infectious diseases in Azerbaijan" and "Healthy lifestyle", organized by the Student Youth Organization. At the meeting, speeches were heard and questions were answered.

On 28.02.2019, a presentation was held at the Ganja medical college, where 85 students were issued with medical certificates. The representatives of the Ganja city organization of the New Azerbaijan Party also participated in the presentation.

On 01.03.2019, the students of Ganja Medical College participated in the opening of the health spartakiade among the students of educational institutions dedicated to the 96th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev, the founder and architect of Azerbaijan.

On March 5, 2019, the opening ceremony of the "Ganja European Sports City 2019" project and a sports event dedicated to March 5 "Physical education and sports" day were held. Volunteers of Ganja Medical College were honored at the event.

On 06.03.2019, the students of Ganja Medical College won the 2nd place in the competition of Health Spartakiad held among the students of educational institutions.

On 07.03.2019, a festive event was held in the assembly hall of our college in connection with the International Women's Day. The teaching staff participated in the event. The director of our college, M.E. Rzayev, congratulated the female teachers and wished them success and said kind words.

On 12.03.2019, a city-wide holiday event was held in connection with Wind Wednesday. The event was attended by the director of our college, M.E. Rzayev, and the staff of teachers and students.

On 14.03.2019, a scientific-theoretical conference called "Prevention of infectious and non-infectious diseases" and "Immunoprophylaxis of infectious diseases" organized by the Youth Organization and the Infectious Diseases Subject Unification Commission was held. The teaching and student staff of Ganja Medical College also participated in the city-wide event organized on the occasion of Nowruz holiday on 18.03.2019. The event was organized in the Heydar Aliyev Park-Complex of Ganja city. the participants watched with enthusiasm.

On 29.03.2019, a conference on English language called "Health is the greatest blessing" was held in the assembly hall of our college. This conference, in addition to showing the success of students in the development of speaking abilities in a foreign language, serves to form their contact with patients in the future. It provides a foundation for the development of practical skills and abilities of our graduates At the same time, it once again instills in students the importance of protecting health as the greatest blessing. If we take into account that Ganja is known as the cultural capital of the CIS, mastering the English language as a common means of communication is one of the necessary factors. In a word, our college is not only in the region, but also in our Republic. contributes to the training of all-round developed young people and highly qualified medical personnel.

On March 31, 2019, an event dedicated to "March 31 - Day of the Genocide of Azerbaijanis" was held at the Ganja City Youth House under the organization of the City Youth and Sports Department. Students of our college also participated in the event.

    

On 04.04.2019, a scientific-theoretical conference called "Conditions of healthy nutrition" and "10 golden rules of healthy nutrition" prepared by TGT and subject unification commission No. 5 was held.

 

On 05.04.2019, an event dedicated to the "Martyrs of April" was held in the assembly hall of our college. The event was attended by the teaching and student staff of the college. The event was opened by the director of the college, M.E. Rzayev, and the dear memory of all our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland was held for one minute. was commemorated in silence. There were speeches about martyrdom and patriotism, which is the highest peak of holiness and immortality.


On 05.04.2019, the students of Ganja Medical College took the 2nd place in the checkers competition of the Health Spartakiad held among the students of educational institutions.

                                                               

A city-wide event was held on the occasion of the birth of the 10 millionth resident on 08.04.2019. The teaching and student staff of Ganja Medical College participated in the event.


On 08.04.2019, on the occasion of the birth of the 10 millionth resident, a "Tree planting" action was held. Active students and teachers of GTK participated in the action.


On 10.04.2019, a meeting was held with students under the headings "Culture problem in public transport" and "The road is life!" organized by the Student Youth Organization. At the meeting, speeches were heard and questions were answered.


On 11.04.2019, the director of Ganja Medical College, M.E. Rzayev, had a meeting with the students. The head of the Ganja City Youth and Sports Department, Mushfig Jafarov, also participated in the meeting. The main goal of the event is to educate young students in the spirit of patriotism, to form them as a personality by respecting the national and moral values of our people. A new chairman of the Student Youth organization was also appointed at the event.


On 15.04.2019, a meeting of representatives of the "Odlar Yurdu" youth public association with students was held in the assembly hall of Ganja Medical College. General Secretary of the Union, Ruslan Valiyev, made a speech, greeted the young people and expressed his gratitude to the management of Ganja Medical College for the current conditions. Later, he spoke about the importance of the sensitivity of young people in promoting humanist ideas and invited them to join the "Charity Marathon". It should be noted that the first activity within the Charity Marathon started with a visit to the Ganja city orphanage with the participation of young people. In general, the main goal of holding a charity marathon is to serve the spread of humanistic ideas among young people by paying attention to those who need special care and support.


On 17.04.2019, the presentation of the National Debate Program for students was held at the Ganja Medical College. Elshan Tagiyev, the chairman of the Ganja Regional Debate Center, gave detailed information to the young people who participated in the presentation about the advantages of debate, what work has been done in relation to debate in recent years, and the benefits of debate for students. at the end, Huseynova Aytac was elected the chairman of the Ganja Medical College Debate Club.

On 25.04.2019, a scientific-practical conference was held on the subjects of Obstetrics, Gynecology, Children's diseases and Medical social rehabilitation under the 3 subject combination of Ganja Medical College. The purpose of the conference was to improve the level of students' knowledge and skills and to familiarize them with the latest innovations in science. At the end, the scenes prepared by the students were shown.


On 25.04.2019, the chairman of the Student Youth Organization of Ganja Medical College and 22 other active students had a picnic in "Khan Bagh" together with our students.


On 26.04.2019, the presentation of the "Employment program" project of the Azerbaijan Youth Fund was held at the Ganja Children's Creativity Center. The purpose of the presentation was to provide work and other social activities for young people aged 18-29. The students of the Ganja Medical College also participated in the presentation.


On 26.04.2019, the 1st nomination (artistic recital) of the "Young Talent" festival of students of higher and secondary educational institutions dedicated to the 650th anniversary of Azerbaijani poet Imadeddin Nasimi was held at the Youth House. Ganja Medical College qualified for the finals.


On 29.04.2019, the girls' team of Ganja Medical College took the 2nd place in the inter-college basketball competition.


On 02.05.2019, an event dedicated to the 96th anniversary of the birth of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, was held. Representatives of the New Azerbaijan Party, teachers and students took part in the event. Opening the event, the director of the college, M.E. Rzayev, noted that Heydar Aliyev, the author of today's independent Azerbaijan, has gone down in history as a unique statesman and politician for his services in the development of all areas of our country. The name of this genius politician is a source of pride and pride for our nation. At the end, a film dedicated to the life of Heydar Aliyev was shown.


On 02.05.2019, the presentation of the YAP cards was held to 104 students of Ganja Medical College. The director of the college M.E. Rzayev, the YAP chairman of GTK, representatives of the New Azerbaijan Party, the chairman of the Youth Union, department heads and students participated in the presentation.


On 03.05.2019, an event called "Politeness rules in public transport" organized by the Student Youth Organization was held. The event was attended by 45 teachers and 210 students in the assembly hall of our college.


On May 4, 2019, a concert was organized in Ganja on the occasion of the birthday of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, and the 15th anniversary of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The concert was attended by the director of Ganja Medical College, M.E. Rzayev, and all the teachers and students.


On 07.05.2019, an excursion dedicated to the 96th anniversary of the birth of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, was organized at the Heydar Aliyev Center. 30 active students of Ganja Medical College participated in the excursion.


On 08.05.2019, a scientific-theoretical conference was held in Ganja Medical College on the subjects of "Internal diseases" and "Neuro-mental and medical psychology" under FBK No.1. it was an acquaintance.

On 09.05.2019, the 74th anniversary of the victory over fascism was celebrated in Ganja. The event was held in "Khan's Garden", in front of the tombstone of Israfil Mammadov, the first Azerbaijani Hero of the Soviet Union. The teachers and students of Ganja Medical College participated in the event, and Israfil Mammadov They laid flowers in front of the gravestone.


On 10.05.2019, the boys' team of Ganja Medical College took the 2nd place in the futsal competition of the health spartakiade among students of educational institutions dedicated to the 96th anniversary of the birth of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev.


On 15.05.2019, the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Ganja, Zeki Öztürk, was a guest of our college. The guest, who got to know the building after major repair and restoration works, was very pleased with the conditions created here. Zeki Öztürk said: "When I visited the medical college, I saw a very modern I am very happy to see the educational institution. I was very happy that such high conditions were created in Ganja. The installation of modern equipment in the classrooms and the conditions created for students indicate that very professional medical workers will be trained in this college in the future. This shows that the management of the college is taking important steps to train highly qualified nurses and medical personnel."

During the meeting, the director of the college, Mehman Rzayev, informed the consul that the educational institution closely cooperates with the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) and in the near future, with the support of this organization, it is planned to build a student cafe-library in the Medical College, which will be provided with all the necessary conditions.

On 15.05.2019, a living portrait of the poet and thinker Imadaddin Nasimi was created in Heydar Aliyev Square of Ganja with the participation of about 3 thousand young people. 257 students of Ganja Medical College participated in the preparation of the portrait.


On 16.05.2019, a conference titled "How we want to see the youth of Azerbaijan" was held on the topic of patriotism, prepared by the Student Youth Organization of Ganja Medical College. At the conference, the health guards of the future were advised to stand guard over the homeland and serve their state and nation with honor. They recited various poems related to the theme and gave speeches with artistic compositions. The director of our college, M.E. Rzayev, along with the teachers and students, representatives of the Ganja City Executive Authority, the chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party, were guests at the conference.


On 16.05.2019, a scientific-practical conference on "Pharmacology" and "Analytical chemistry" subjects was held at Ganja Medical College under subject combination No. 6. The purpose of the conference was to improve the level of students' knowledge and skills and familiarize them with the latest innovations in science.


On 19.05.2019, the commemoration of Turkey's May 19 Atatürk, youth and sports holiday was held in Ganja. The teaching and student staff of Ganja Medical College participated.


On 21.05.2019, the chairmen and deputies of the Student Youth Organization of Ganja Medical College, the teaching staff participated in the conference held by the International Anti-Terrorist Training Center of the State Security Service on the topic of "Azerbaijanism ideology" and "The role of the public in the fight against terrorism".

On 29.05.2019, on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, the presentation of the film "Unforgettable" was held in Ganja on the initiative of "Odlar Yurdu" Youth Public Union. The chairman of the Student Youth Organization of Ganja Medical College, 100 students and teaching staff participated in the presentation.


On 30.05.2019, "Graduate Day" was held at Ganja Medical College. The administration and teaching staff of the college took part in the ceremonial event. The event was opened by the director of the college, M.E. Rzayev. The director first congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their future life and activities. He wished. On 01.06.2019, an event titled "To the Future with Speed and Faith" was held with the joint organization of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Issues, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, UNICEF and the Ganja City Executive Authority. The event was also , dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. The event was launched on June 1, 2019, with the departure of the entertainment propaganda train "To the Future with Speed and Faith" from Baku to Ganja. The chairman of the State Committee on the Problems of Children, Ms. Hijran Huseynova and the head of UNICEF's country representation, Mr. Edward Karwardin, met with the children and got to know them. The second part of the event continued in Ganja. First, the monument of National Leader of our People Heydar Aliyev was visited and his memory was commemorated with deep respect. On 22.06.2019, the Volunteers of the Student Youth Organization of Ganja Medical College were awarded a diploma by the Chairman of Azerbaijan Student Youth Unions, Faig Mammadov, for their successful activities.


On 28.06.2019, an educational event was held in Ganja Medical College on the occasion of "International Day of Combating Drug Addiction and Drug Business". At the meeting organized by the General Department of Youth and Sports of Ganja city, young people were informed about the ways to fight against drug addiction and drug business and its consequences. The director of Ganja Medical College, Mehman Rzayev, said that the fight against drug addiction is one of the main goals and tasks in terms of the formation of a healthy society. According to Rzayev, the scourge of drug addiction, known as "white death" in society, causes incurable complications in human life. Khojaly tragedy was commemorated in Ganja Medical College


A memorial ceremony dedicated to the 28th anniversary of "February 26 - Khojaly Genocide" was organized in Ganja Medical College.

Speaking at the official part of the event, the teacher of the college, veteran of Karabakh, Mehabbat Iskenderov, said that massacres were committed by Armenian usurpers from time to time in the history of the Azerbaijani people. Khojaly tragedy is the most terrible among them.

Hundreds of residential houses, civil facilities, school buildings, multi-apartment buildings were seriously damaged. One of the areas with the most serious damage and destruction is residential houses located on Mukhtar Hajiyev Street in Ganja. On October 17, 2020, a large number of people lost their lives, suffered severe and serious injuries, and many residential houses were razed to the ground and completely destroyed as a result of the impact of the "SCUD" type ballistic missile launched into this area of Ganja where the civilian population lives. Mayakov Artur Ramil oghlu, a citizen of the Russian Federation, born in 2007, was one of those who lost his life in the rubble of one of the houses destroyed by the rocket attack. He came to Ganja, to the house of his close relatives, to visit his fatherland. No one ever thought that a 13-year-old child would be a victim of Armenian vandalism and fascism. One year of these terrible events is approaching. People who lost their loved ones, relatives, friends, neighbors, relatives remember those moments with tears every day. Recently, the management of Ganja Medical College and a group of employees visited the relatives of 13-year-old Artur Mayakov, who lost his life during those terrible rocket attacks. During the meeting, the director of the college, Mehman Rzayev, asked God for mercy to our martyrs who died heroically in battles for the homeland as a result of these rocket attacks, which Armenian vandalism and fascism proved to the whole world. He noted that by throwing ballistic missiles, which are against international norms and are prohibited even in war zones, into the area inhabited by civilians, Armenians once again proved that they are far from human norms, savage and vandals: "Today we want to share your troubles with you. , we are here to comfort the loved ones of Arthur and hundreds of innocent people like him. Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev repeatedly emphasized in his speech that this vandalism and brutality of the Armenian fascists will never be forgotten, those who committed and ordered these terrible decisions will answer before the international court," said Mehman Rzayev. The relatives of the 13-year-old martyr expressed their gratitude to the staff of Ganja Medical College for the moral support and attention given to them.

On October 19, the director of Ganja Medical College, Mehman Rzayev, met with students. The event was attended by Hamid Nasirov, head of the Ganja City Youth and Sports Head Office, Amil Gurbanov, head of the Ganja Youth House, Rashad Alizade, head of the Youth Sector of the Ganja City Youth and Sports Head Office, Yadigar Badalov, representative of the Ganja City Executive Power. At the meeting, first of all, the dear memory of the Martyrs of the Patriotic War was commemorated with a minute's silence. Mehman Rzayev also added that in the institution where 901 students are currently studying in 6 specialties, the buildings have been overhauled and the roof has been renewed. The central heating system has been restored in the college, and a sports ground has been created. In order to increase the quality of teaching, the material and technical base has also been improved. New smart boards have been installed, the classrooms have been provided with the Internet, which enables students to better understand the lessons and, if necessary, benefit from international experiences. Opportunities for students to undergo practical exercises and acquire knowledge visually have also been greatly improved. "Now we have very modern laboratories. Our students studying orthopedic stomatology, laboratory diagnostics, medical prevention specialties will be able to benefit from the laboratories equipped with modern, new equipment. In the near future, another laboratory will be added to this list, where they will be able to practice many of the medical skills important to health workers on a robotic mannequin. I hope that in the next 2-3 years, our college will train more educated personnel with very high skills," he added. A new chairman of the Student Youth organization was also appointed at the meeting.

An event dedicated to Nizami Ganjavi's 880 years was held at Ganja Medical College. An event dedicated to the 880th anniversary of the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi was held at Ganja Medical College. The event was attended by Niyazi Bayramov, the head of Ganja City Executive Authority, Deputy Musa Guliyev, the management of the college, teachers and students. First, the dear memory of our martyrs who died for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a minute of silence. Director of Ganja Medical College Mehman Rzayev welcomed the guests and spoke about the essence of the event. He noted that Nizami lived and worked in Ganja, one of the important cultural centers of the Ganjavi period. It was here that he created the wonderful pearls of word art that enriched the history of philosophical-social and artistic-aesthetic thought of the Near and Middle East. His famous "Khamsa" stands at the top of the world's poetic-philosophical thought. The declaration of 2021 as the "Year of Nizami Ganjavi" in Azerbaijan by the relevant Decree of the head of the country, the Honorable President Ilham Aliyev, is of special importance in terms of the deeper study of the rich heritage of the great poet, including its wide promotion in the world. Later, the wise words of Nizami Ganjavi, who is considered the sun of world literature, were performed by the students of the college, and a film dedicated to the life and work of the genius poet was shown.

The event began with a one-minute silence commemoration of the souls of our martyrs who died for the freedom of Karabakh. The director of the college, Mehman Rzayev, congratulated the event participants and our people on the occasion of Victory Day, written in golden letters in the history of Azerbaijan. He noted that the Patriotic War, which started on September 27 last year and lasted for 44 days, ended with the glorious Victory of Azerbaijan under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. Within the framework of military operations, the Azerbaijani Army defeated the armed forces of the occupying Armenia during 30 years and achieved a great victory thanks to a strong army strategy, national unity and the spirit of our fighters. "The Patriotic War was written in golden letters on the brightest page of our history. This historical victory became the pride and source of pride of the Azerbaijani people. In 44 days, the people united closely around their leader - the victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, turned into an "Iron Fist" and demonstrated their strength, determination and struggle to the whole world. Head of Ganja City Executive Niyazi Bayramov, Consul General of Turkey in Ganja Zeki Öztürk, members of parliament, families of martyrs and participants of the Patriotic War, residents took part in the holiday event organized in Ganja's "Istiqlal" park. The event was closely attended by the director of Ganja Medical College and the teacher-student staff. The event was declared open with the playing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The dear memory of our martyrs who died for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a minute of silence. Niyazi Bayramov, the head of the Ganja City Executive Authority, noted that the Brave Azerbaijan Army, under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Muzaffar, ended the occupation that had been going on for almost 30 years in just 44 days and expelled the enemy from our ancestral lands. During the Patriotic War, the city of Ganja also experienced difficult times and was subjected to rocket fire, but it was not broken. On the contrary, the residents of the city have united even more tightly around President Ilham Aliyev. Later, the opening of the "Memorial Monument Complex" built in the "Istiqlal" park took place with the participation of the city administration and the families of the martyrs. The construction of the "Memorial Monument Complex" started in May of this year. The complex, with a total area of 1200 sq.m., consists of iron and concrete slabs. With the participation of young volunteers, 44 doves, symbols of peace, were released into the air. The event, which took place on the Flag Square, began with the singing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Later, the dear memory of our martyrs who died for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a minute of silence. It was noted that the State Flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan is a symbol of our national sovereignty and a source of pride. The flag, which is one of the most sacred symbols, is the proof of the nation's existence, the main indicator of its ability to claim an independent state. The tricolor flag, which is a relic of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, demonstrates the loyalty of our people to the ideology of freedom, national and moral values and universal ideals. Deputy Parvin Karimzade spoke and said that our 3-color national flag was the first harbinger of our determination to fight, our desire for victory, our history of independence, and called us to holy battles for the Motherland. The flag of Azerbaijan, which declares the existence of our independent state to the whole world and flies in a row with the flags of more than 180 countries, today, thanks to the bravery of our victorious army, it flies majestically in every village and city of our country that was freed from occupation. The seminar was attended by Gunduz Ismayilov, the deputy chairman of the National Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Nahid Mammadov, the head of the department, Hasan Mammadov, the head of the department for the Ganja region, and Azer Ibrahimov, an employee of the Office of the Head of the Ganja City Executive Authority. Gunduz Ismayilov, who opened the seminar with an introductory speech, said that the religious situation in the country is stable now, and this stability has become stronger in recent years. A book exhibition was organized at the Mahsati Ganjavi Center in Ganja. The teaching and student staff of Ganja Medical College participated in that exhibition. More than 1,000 books of 50 titles published by the Foundation for Propagation of Moral Values were presented to the exhibition participants. Mehsati Ganjavi, a great Azerbaijani poetess who lived in the late 11th - early 12th century, was a bright representative of Azerbaijan and the Muslim renaissance era, and was a representative of the new urban poetry, glorifying the images of artists, poets, singers and poets in her poems. Mahsati won first place in everything. She is the first famous Azerbaijani poetess, the first female chess player, the first outstanding female musician and most likely the first female composer. Wine and the feeling of love are glorified in his poems. Among the works of the poetess, the series of poems dedicated to young artists, tailors, spinners, gold diggers and others living in Kharabat quarter of Ganja is more famous. According to the Resolution No. 211 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 7, 2019, Mahsati Ganjavi was included in the list of authors whose works were declared state goods in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Students of Ganja Medical College held an event on December 1 - World AIDS Day at the Ganja City Youth House. The main goal of organizing such events is to inform students about AIDS, as well as the consequences of drug addiction and other harmful habits, and to further increase students' interest in education, science, and sports. First, detailed information about the founding date of the World AIDS Day was given. It was reported that since 1988, December 1 has been celebrated as World AIDS Day every year. That date was established in order to attract the attention of the world community to the fight against HIV-infection, which has reached a global scale. At the event, the work done in the direction of wide promotion of a healthy lifestyle in our country, protection of the rights of people addicted to drugs and alcoholism, and the rehabilitation of people infected with AIDS was discussed. Laws and programs adopted to fight AIDS were discussed. Videos about the serious consequences of AIDS were shown at the event.

Parvin Karimzade and Mushfiq Jafarov, MPs of the Milli Majlis, spoke about the outstanding representative of world literature, the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi, who opened a new page in the annals of artistic ideas of mankind. They noted that the bright legacy of a rare personality, which has become an integral part of the spirituality of our people, has been preserved in the treasure of the East's unparalleled cultural resources for centuries. On 08.12.2021, a seminar on "The role of moral and religious values in the prevention of domestic violence" was organized by the Ganja region department of the State Committee for Work with Religious Institutions (SCCID) at the Ganja Medical College. Hasan Mammadov, the head of the Ganja region department of the National Medical Institute of Health, Department employees, and the teaching staff of Ganja Medical College took part in the seminar. In the event held in the form of a mutual discussion in compliance with quarantine rules, the participants were given a broad explanation about domestic violence and its forms, and the role of moral and religious values in preventing domestic violence was discussed.

On 12.12.2021, the student and teaching staff of Ganja Medical College participated in the event dedicated to the commemoration day of the national leader of our nation, great leader Heydar Aliyev. World history has proven that the strength, intelligence, courage, political will and wisdom of individuals have an irreplaceable role in the life of the people they belong to and the state they create. Among these personalities, Heydar Aliyev, the architect and founder of the modern independent state of Azerbaijan, the great leader, has a special place. As every year, the memory of Heydar Aliyev, the architect of the independent state of Azerbaijan, the national leader, was commemorated in Ganja. The teaching and student staff of Ganja Medical College, as well as city residents and representatives of collectives, came to the monument of the genius and laid flowers. On 24.12.2021, students of Ganja Medical College participated in the tree planting action in Ganja on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the birth of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev. Different types of trees were planted during the campaign. Cleaning works were carried out in the area, newly planted trees were watered and agrotechnical care was provided to them.

 

On December 25 and 27, 2021, the Ganja Youth Debate Forum "Autumn 2021" held at the Ganja Youth House with the joint organization of the Civil Society Debate Public Union of the Ganja Youth House and the Ganja Regional Debate Center on the topic "States' steps towards solving the global water crisis are justified" ” completed successfully. The teams of "Debate Clubs" of universities and colleges participated in the forum. In the final stage, the "Nexus" team of Azerbaijan State Agrarian University and the "Night Mare" team of Ganja Medical College met. On 30.12.2021, a group of students of Ganja Medical College visited Ganja City Orphanage. The director of the Children's Home gave information about the children living in that home, talked about their educational program, nutrition, and the effective use of their free time. He noted that the Children's Home is the center of special attention of our state and is surrounded by all-round care. The arrival of young people to the Orphanage caused joy to the minors here. The students distributed the gifts to the children. The several-hour meeting made a good impression on both the students and the children.

On January 19, 2022, an event was held in Ganja Medical College in connection with the 32nd anniversary of the January 20 tragedy. First, the memory of the victims of "January 20" tragedy was commemorated with a minute of silence. The event was opened by Mehman Rzayev, director of Ganja Medical College. In his speech, Mehman Rzayev spoke about the "bloody terror committed by the Soviet military units in Azerbaijan on the night of January 19-20, 1990 to break the will of our people on the instructions of the former USSR leadership." He emphasized that the "January 20" tragedy written in blood in our history will never be forgotten. Mehman Rzayev said that this date was the first peak of Azerbaijan's path to independence, the awakening of the desire for freedom of our national ideology. January 20, 1990 is a glorious date when the people living under the Soviet empire for many years raised their voice for freedom and showed courage for their sovereignty. Although the Soviet empire shed the blood of innocent people and committed unprecedented cruelty against our people, it could not achieve its wish and break our national pride. Mehman Rzayev emphasized that one day after the tragedy, on January 21, 1990, our national leader Heydar Aliyev with his family members came to the permanent representation of Azerbaijan in Moscow with great courage and a sense of commitment to his people and made a statement strongly condemning the terrible crime committed by the Soviet leadership against our people. In the decision adopted on March 29, 1994 with the recommendation of the great leader, the tragedy of January 20 was given a full political and legal assessment at the state level for the first time. In June 1993, by the order of national leader Heydar Aliyev, who returned to the leadership of the republic by the will of the people, all the graves of martyrs were removed, and a memorial complex was erected in Shahidler Khiyaban. By the order of President Ilham Aliyev, Martyrs' Alley was reconstructed at a high level as a single complex, and a memorial monument complex was created in memory of the victims of the January 20 tragedy in Baku. The tragedy of January 20, 1990 was engraved in the history of Azerbaijan not only as a day of tragedy, but also as a proof of our nation's independence determination and unshakable will, a path leading to the restoration of state independence, and a day of national pride. The great leader Heydar Aliyev declared: "January 20 is an example of the heroism of the Azerbaijani people for the sake of national freedom and defending their identity." Even though our people were martyrs in those events, they created a glorious history of heroism, made of the indomitable will of the brave sons of the motherland, the indomitability of the national spirit, and the determination for independence. The soul of the martyrs of January 20 is happy, because today our state independence is getting stronger every year in reliable hands. The brave Azerbaijani Army, under the leadership of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, freed our native lands from the occupation of Armenia, now the Azerbaijani flag is flying in those territories, and life is reviving with great construction and reconstruction works. At the end, a video dedicated to the memory of "January 20" martyrs was shown, various compositions and poems staged with the participation of students were presented.

On January 20, the memory of the martyrs who died for the independence and sovereignty of the country was commemorated in Ganja. The head of the Ganja City Executive Authority, Niyazi Bayramov, public representatives, employees of law enforcement agencies, education and health workers, relatives of martyrs' families, as well as teachers and students of Ganja Medical College participated in the commemoration ceremony. At the entrance of the Alley of Martyrs, the monument built "in memory of those who died in the battles for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan" was visited, wreaths and bouquets of flowers were placed in front of it. Later, Niyazi Bayramov, the head of the Ganja city executive authority, laid a wreath in front of the Martyrs' Memorial Complex Monument. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played by the military orchestra, and prayers were read for the souls of the martyrs. March 1 is World Civil Defense Day

An educational event was held in Ganja Medical College on the occasion of March 1 - World Civil Defense Day. On 31.03.2022, an event dedicated to March 31 - Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis was held by the General Department of Youth and Sports of Ganja City. The director of Ganja Medical College, Mehman Rzayev, and the doctor-teacher staff participated in the conference. On February 14-March 5, with the joint cooperation of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Azerbaijan Medical University (AMU), the international professors held a conference on "Professional development of the educator in the field of teaching", "Medicine application", "Basic life support" of AMU. On 18.04.2022, a meeting was held with the students of Ganja Medical College under the organization of the Ganja Regional Debate Center operating under the "Civil Society Debate" Public Union. As it is known, the first "State Program on the Protection of Human Rights" was approved by Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, on June 18, 1998 in the Republic of Azerbaijan. and the provision of human rights have been determined.
