A conference on "Green world for a healthy future" was held at the Ganja Medical College of the Ministry of Health. Speaking at the event, the director of the college, Mehman Rzayev, said that Azerbaijan, as the leader of the South Caucasus, is taking an important role in global processes as a leading regional factor:

 "Azerbaijan, which announced the priorities of "green energy" and "green world" in recent times, is remembered for its fundamental initiatives for a healthy future of the world. When the countries of the world fall into the most difficult and sensitive situations in the field of ecology, Azerbaijan came to the agenda with its international calls and global initiatives in this field. A similar situation is repeated today - it is no coincidence that modern challenges require a unified position from the global world on some nuances. In a few months, Baku will become a center for solving environmental problems of the whole world. By hosting the COP-29, Azerbaijan will once again direct everyone's attention to solving environmental problems with the priorities of "green energy" and "green world", added M. Rzayev.

 Then other speaking speakers noted that the relevant Decree of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev "On declaring 2024 as the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World" in the Republic of Azerbaijan" has exactly this essence. A stable and peaceful world, a life without weapons and war, and the priorities of a society with social security and high thinking, the slogan "green world" glorifies a healthy future. The slogan "Green world" combines the most important ideas of the overall development process of Azerbaijan. It was also specially emphasized that today Azerbaijan, which is among the energy providers of several regions of the world, defines new priorities for the new era.
