
Today, the graduation day was held at Ganja Medical College of the Ministry of Health, which is one of the oldest educational institutions that train medical personnel in Azerbaijan. In the 2023-2024 academic year, the college, which has been operating since 1931, has a total of 311 students in the specialties of "Nursing (brother)", "Midwifery", "Pharmacy", "Medical prophylaxis", "Orthopedic dentistry" and "Laboratory diagnostics". the student earned the title of graduate.
Greeting the students on the graduation day, the director of the college, Honored doctor Mehman Rzayev, talked about the conditions created in the medical educational institution for receiving high-quality education. It was noted that today, along with the repair and technical equipment of healthcare facilities in Azerbaijan, our state is also carrying out purposeful work in the direction of raising the level of doctors and paramedics:
"Our college, which has been operating since 1931, has been renovated at a high level in recent years and equipped with modern equipment. As you know, we currently train students in 7 majors. Today, 1015 students study in our college. This is 40 percent more than in previous years. Our laboratories with very high technical support are already operating. With the help of these created conditions, modern medical equipment, robot trainers and other technical means in our new laboratories, we are able to train real professional medical workers and students with high knowledge and skills. I hope that our students who will graduate today will be able to provide high-level medical services to the population in any medical institutions in the future," added M. Rzayev.
Then the doctors and teachers of the speaking college, as well as the graduates, looked back at the past 3 years and remembered once again the joint steps they took on the difficult but honorable path of medical science.
After the speeches, honorary diplomas were presented to the graduates who distinguished themselves in education and social life of the college for 3 years.
After the graduation day, a job fair was organized for the first time at Ganja Medical College of the Ministry of Health. The graduates were very interested in the event, which was attended by about 20 state and private medical institutions of the western region. For the first time, the graduates of the college were interested in vacancies and shared their information with the employees of the employing medical institutions in direct communication.
At the labor fair, medical institutions of Ganja, Naftalan, Dashkasan, Gazakh, Aghstafa, Tovuz regions presented vacant vacancies to graduates. This event has been very effective in finding jobs for students graduating from college this year.
At the end of the event, musical numbers performed by the students of the college were presented.
