Doctors-teachers of the Ganja Medical College of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan conducted practical lessons at the next educational event of the Ganja Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

     Thus, training courses were held for deputy directors of secondary specialized schools. At the event organized for about 20 teachers, the doctor-teacher staff of the Ganja Medical College of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan gave information about the first medical aid that can be provided in emergency situations.

     The event began with the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan and commemoration of the memory of our martyrs who died for the integrity of our lands with a minute of silence.

      Speaking, the employee of the Ganja Regional Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs spoke first about the work that should be done in the direction of increasing attention to the preparation of the population for emergency situations and ensuring the constant preparation of civil defense units, including the importance of every citizen knowing the first medical aid that can be performed in emergency situations. . The role of the Ministry of Defense in the protection of the population, the goals and tasks of civil defense, and the role of teachers in promoting civil defense were emphasized. A detailed explanation of the rules for using personal protective equipment during emergency situations was given and the rules of correct behavior were demonstrated.

     Then Sevda Abbasova, Chief of the Civil Defense Staff of the Ganja Medical College of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan spoke about the rules of behavior during emergency situations. Afat Iskenderova, a doctor-teacher of the college, demonstrated first aid on robots during emergencies and gave information about epileptic seizures, poisoning, electrocution, trauma, bleeding, burns, CPR measures - basic life support during first aid. The extensive explanation of our doctors aroused the full interest of the audience and their questions were answered.
