On September 19, a meeting was held within the framework of the second stage of the project "Modern Azerbaijani family in the process of globalization and democratization" of the Humanitarian Development Public Union "Himaedar" at the Ganja Medical College. It was emphasized at the event that the main goal of the project is to protect and strengthen the family institution within the framework of basic human rights and freedoms, with a human-based approach, to help ensure the adequacy of the democratization process in the family and society, and to support the preservation and transmission of the specific characteristics of the Azerbaijani family to future generations.

The representatives of the "Supporter" Humanitarian Progress Public Union made a speech that the project was supported by the State Support Council for Non-Governmental Organizations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and gave extensive information about the results of the 1st part, which has already been completed. a problem of stability has arisen - the number of marriages in the country is decreasing, and the number of divorces is constantly increasing. In addition, due to the influence of economic, social and moral factors, the tendency of young men to start a formal family has decreased. Those who leave, emphasizing the fact that the duration of cohabitation is shortened, along with a serious increase in the divorce rate, out of every three divorced families they reported that one of them got divorced after living together for five years.At the event, the importance of regular education and preventive meetings was mentioned in order to prevent such situations in our society.

The meeting was attended by doctors and teachers of Ganja Medical College, members of the student youth organization and our active students. At the end of the event, the raised issues were discussed and the questions were answered.
