On 27.10.2019, the first bicycle march was held in Ganja with the mass participation of residents. Students of Ganja Medical College participated in the bicycle march held in Ganja. The purpose of the event, which was jointly organized by "Regional Development" Public Union, Ganja City Executive Authority, Azerbaijan Bicycle Sports Federation and "Ganja - European Sports City of 2019" project, was to promote a healthy lifestyle and cycling in the regions. started in front of Ganja and continued to Ganja City Executive Authority. More than 1000 cyclists participated in the march. At the finish, bicycles were presented to school children from low-income families of Ganja city. It should be noted that bicycles were given to 100 children from low-income families as part of the cycling project. It should be noted that Ganja was also declared the European Sports City of 2019.
