The students of Ganja Medical College participated in the tour called "Our Museum and Historical Monuments" jointly organized by Ganja City Youth and Sports Department and "Ganja Youth House" in connection with the World Tourism Day. This information was provided by the student youth organization of the college. It was reported that during the tour covering the dates of September 30 - October 1, 2019, our young people got acquainted with the museums operating in Ganja and visited the ancient historical monuments of our city. Within the framework of these events, the participants were given extensive information about the World Tourism Day. It was noted that the International Tourism Day was established in Azerbaijan on September 27, 1980 by the United Nations International Tourism Organization. Tourism Day has been celebrated in our country since 2001, when Azerbaijan became a member of the International Tourism Organization. It was brought to the attention of the participants of the excursion that the main purpose of the International Tourism Day is the promotion of tourism, highlighting the resources invested in the economy of the world society and the development of relations between the peoples of different countries.
