On November 21, students of Ganja Medical College participated in the presentation of the project "Strengthening the Health Resilience of Local Communities During Emergency Situations" in Ganja. The main goal of the project, implemented with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Red Cross Red Crescent Society, is to strengthen the resilience of local communities in the South Caucasus countries in order to reduce the negative health effects of disasters and crises. In addition, pandemic preparedness, epidemic control, water hygiene and sanitation, as well as response to mass disasters, first aid, psychosocial support were among the main topics discussed within the project.

In addition to theoretical knowledge, the participants of the event took part in practical training.
