The management of Ganja Medical College regularly holds online meetings with students during the examination session held within the spring semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. The director of the college, honored doctor Mehman Rzayev gave this information. According to him, students studying at the educational institution have been taking oral exams online as part of the spring exam session since June 8, and after almost every exam, they have online meetings with all groups on special programs:

"As we have already reported, students in Ganja Medical College take online exams based on the recommendation of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan due to the restrictions on the activities of the educational institutions of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Online classes were held by our teachers for students of all groups of specialties. The questions of the exams were delivered to all our students via the Internet. Several group exams are behind us. From time to time, we organize meetings with various programs over the Internet. At this time, we discuss the issues that concern the students, the problems they face, and jointly explore ways to eliminate them," M. Rzayev added.

Stating that classes are taught online during the pandemic, in a special quarantine mode, the director of the college emphasized that this experience is a first for both teachers and students:

"As you know, distance education is a first for us. Despite this, our entire team has mobilized all the possibilities for holding classes. In our college, through high-speed internet and smart boards, students were taught lessons in all majors according to the program. The presence of the recently created electronic library in our educational institution has helped a lot in this matter," said the director.

Regarding the issues raised by the students during the meetings, Mehman Rzayev noted that all the questions will be examined again:

"As I mentioned above, online teaching and examination was an experiment for our college. Of course, there were some difficulties here for both our teachers and our students. Taking into account that most of the students of our college are from different cities and regions of Azerbaijan, and there were some difficulties in connecting over the Internet, it is natural that such problems exist. Taking this into account, we plan to re-teach online review classes for some subjects and hold the next online exams in August."
