The examination session of the spring semester of the 2019/2020 academic year in Ganja Medical College has started to be held online. The director of the college, honored doctor Mehman Rzayev gave this information. According to him, students studying at the educational institution take oral exams online as part of the spring exam session from June 8.
"In connection with the restriction on activity in the educational institutions of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the educational process for students in Ganja Medical College was organized online. Online classes were held by our teachers for students of all groups of specialties. The questions of the exams were delivered to all our students via the Internet. As you know, there is an electronic library of Ganja Medical College. Our students have the opportunity to prepare for exams online using the library with a special password. Our teachers have created the necessary conditions for students to prepare for online exams, and some concessions have been made. I hope that in this difficult time, our students will be able to benefit from these high conditions created for them," said Mehman Rzayev.
According to the director of the college, in the spring session, a total of 590 students of various specialties participate in online exams:
"All students participated in several exams in different specialties. In our college, a team of 4 people including one teacher, two commission members and one information technology specialist works for conducting the online exam. The examination room is equipped with intelligent smart boards, high-speed internet and other necessary equipment for communication. All these possibilities allow conducting online exams at a high level," added the director of Ganja Medical College.
Mehman Rzayev noted that the administration of the college supervises the course of the exam. If any of the students are dissatisfied with the course of the exam, in case of any misunderstanding, they can apply to the exam headquarters established in the college:
"We have tried to create maximum conditions for our students. We have provided the necessary assistance so that they do not fall behind in their education in this difficult situation, so that they can master all the lessons of the program. An additional exam will be organized for our students who are excluded from distance education for any technical reason. Let's also take into account that teaching and examination in this manner is a first for both the teaching staff and our students. That's why we try to improve every exam. I hope that this will show itself in the overall result of the exams. I wish success to our students," said Mehman Rzayev.
