During the discussion, at a time when the whole world is under the threat of the coronavirus pandemic, the work done under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev in the direction of protecting the health and improving the welfare of the Azerbaijani people, especially the large-scale social support measures implemented are an example for many countries, and the urgent need to prevent the spread of the terrible infection in our country. it was said that the measures were continued without stopping. At the same time, issues related to the problems encountered during the pandemic and their solutions have also become the subject of discussion.
The director of Ganja Medical College, honored doctor Mehman Rzayev, who spoke at the video conference, spoke about the reforms carried out in Azerbaijan's education in recent years and emphasized that the head of state paid great attention to the field of medicine and the use of international experiences to increase scientific knowledge in this field. The director talked about the major renovation works carried out in Ganja Medical College, the fertile conditions created for students, and the classrooms equipped with electronic library, smart electronic boards, and modern medical equipment. M. Rzayev, who specially emphasized the creation of Laboratory diagnostics and Medical prevention specialties at the college at the initiative of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan, which pre-assessed the current conditions today, highly appreciated the training of good specialists in these specialties:
"Today, there is a great need for professional specialized medical workers in the western region, as well as in other regions of our country. Thanks to the attention and care of the head of the country, Ilham Aliyev, high-quality medical facilities are operating in all regions of Azerbaijan. Our main goal is to provide those medical centers with professionals. Therefore, our college continued its activities online like other educational institutions during the pandemic. Almost all subjects in all groups were taught online. In this matter, our electronic library has been very helpful to students," added Mehman Rzayev.
At the online conference, the effects of the economic crisis and the coronavirus pandemic on ecology, the environment and tourism were reviewed, recommendations were heard, and questions related to the topic were answered.
