
A conference titled “The Education of Youth in the Spirit of National and Moral Values in Azerbaijani Society, the Role of Mothers in Preserving Family Values, and the Tasks Ahead” was held at Ganja Medical College under the Ministry of Health.
The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of Azerbaijan. Afterwards, the memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and liberation of Azerbaijan’s lands was honored with a minute of silence.
Opening the conference with an introductory speech, the director of the college, Honored Doctor Mehman Rzayev, welcomed the guests and emphasized that the topics to be discussed are relevant and important for our society.
During the meeting, speeches were delivered by Member of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Vice-Rector of Ganja State University Parvin Karimzade, Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijan Council of Elders Bayram Yusifov, Chairman of the Ganja Council of Elders Nureddin Mammadov, Head of Department of the Ganja City Executive Power Yadigar Badalov, the mother of martyr Haji Rauf Isgirov Brilyant Asgirova, and other speakers.
Reports were presented on important topics such as “The Role of Women in the Processes Taking Place in Our Society and in Preserving Family Values,” “Issues Facing the Upbringing of Youth,” “The Role of Women in Azerbaijani Society,” and “The Responsibilities of the Azerbaijan Council of Elders in the Formation of Youth.”
The conference was organized and initiated by the Ganja City Executive Power, the Ganja Council of Elders, and Ganja Medical College of the Ministry of Health. Students from higher and secondary specialized educational institutions operating in Ganja took part in the event.
At the end of the conference, diplomas were presented to individuals who distinguished themselves in the formation and upbringing of youth.
