Awareness classes were held at the Ganja Medical College by the Ministry of Health.

On March 5, awareness classes on the topic “Medical, biological and sanitary protection measures for the population during emergency situations” were held at the Ganja Medical College of the Ministry of Health for deputy principals responsible for educational affairs of secondary schools.

Sevda Abbasova, engineer of the college’s civil defense headquarters, spoke about the relevance and importance of such topics for the population, including teachers and students.

Doctor–teacher Mehpara Guliyeva provided information about first aid and spoke about basic life support on mannequins, fractures, dislocations, snake bites, carbon monoxide poisoning, applying bandages, and other first aid measures.

The event was held in accordance with the requirements of the “Rules for preparing the population for emergency situations” of the Ganja Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
