A solemn festive event dedicated to November 8 - Victory Day was held at the Ganja Medical College of the Ministry of Health. First, the dear memory of our martyrs was commemorated, the National Anthem was sung. A group of veterans and war participants who sacrificed their lives and blood in the 44-day war and liberated our lands attended the event.

In his opening speech, the director of the college, Honored Doctor Mehman Rzayev congratulated our veterans and war veterans on the 5th anniversary of the Victory. The director noted that the liberation of our lands from occupation as a result of the determination, courageous decisions of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev and the unity of our people, the blood of our martyrs, and the sacrifice of our veterans was not just a military victory, but also the restoration of our national spirit, justice, and historical rights.

Then, our veterans who showed heroism in the 44-day war spoke and spoke about the glorious path of battle they had traveled. It was emphasized that the victory of our brave army on the battlefields is not only due to their heroism, but also to the fact that the entire Azerbaijani people, united closely around the "Iron Fist" of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, demonstrated their militancy and fighting spirit as a nation.

After the speeches, a video clip on Victory Day was shown.

College students performed poems, songs, and dances they had prepared at the event held on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of Victory. Their performances were met with great enthusiasm and applause.

Then, a group of college employees were presented with incentive awards on the occasion of Victory Day.
