
The next event was held at the Ganja Medical College of the Ministry of Health within the framework of the "Children's Rights Month" covering the dates of October 20 - November 20, with the aim of increasing attention and care for children in need of special care, one of the most vulnerable groups of society.
The event, which was held at the "Student House" of the college, was attended by about 50 students in need of special care from Ganja city special school No. 45, Bayram Aslanov, chairman of the Ganja city organization of the New Azerbaijan Party, Director of Ganja Medical College, Honored Doctor Mehman Rzayev, the college's medical and teaching staff, and students.
Opening the event, which began with the singing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan and a minute of silence in memory of the souls of our martyrs who died for the freedom of our lands, M. Rzayev welcomed the guests and emphasized that it is the duty of each of us to ensure the healthy and happy growth of children and the protection of their rights:
“Creating equal opportunities for children in need of special care, ensuring access to education, health and social services are among the main priorities of the state and society. Today, the Head of State, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva, and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation treat children, especially children in need of special care, with great sensitivity, attention and care,” M. Rzayev noted.
Then, songs were performed by the students of the college.
The students of the special school No. 45 also added color to the event with poems, songs and dances they prepared. Their performance was met with applause.
At the end of the meeting, gifts were given to children in need of special care by the staff and students of the college.
