
An educational event was held with students at the Ganja Medical College of the Ministry of Health on the topic of “The problem of early marriage and ways to combat it.” The meeting was attended by employees of the Ganja-Dashkasan Regional Department of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations of the Republic, the executor of religious rites of the Shah Abbas Mosque of Ganja city. The main goal of the event was to talk about early marriages and truancy, their consequences, and ways to eliminate them, to convey information about the violation of the law, and to provide extensive information about large-scale projects being carried out in this area. The meeting also emphasized the importance of girls’ education. It was noted that parents bear a great responsibility in giving priority to the education of girls and raising them as useful individuals for society.
