An educational event was held at the Ganja Medical College of the Ministry of Health in accordance with the annual event plan of the Ganja Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The event began with a minute of silence in memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and our Martyrs and the playing of the Azerbaijani National Anthem.

Opening the meeting with an introductory speech, Civil Defense Staff Engineer of the Ganja Medical College Sevda Abbasova noted the close cooperation between the college and the staff of the Ganja Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and emphasized that the lessons taught by the college's doctors and teachers on organizing first aid are always met with interest.

Then, Major Abdullayev Rashad, an employee of the Ganja Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, spoke on the topic of "Organizing the protection of the population during emergencies", provided extensive information about personal protective equipment, masks, and provided detailed information about the evacuation of the population during emergencies.

Captain Elchin Mammadov spoke about “Shelters”, their protective properties, anti-radiation shelters and protective devices built to ensure the life of the population while they are there.

Senior Lieutenant Allahverdi Abdullayev spoke about warning devices used to warn the population during emergencies.

Finally, the college’s doctor-teacher, Sveta Azimova, provided information about “First Aid” and the processes that should be implemented in such cases.
