The Ministry of Health held a meeting with the parents of approximately 300 first-year students at the Ganja Medical College over 3 days, September 24-26. Greeting the guests and congratulating their children on earning the title of student, the director of the educational institution, Honored Doctor Mehman Rzayev, emphasized that all necessary conditions have been created for obtaining high-level knowledge at the Ganja Medical College of the Ministry of Health:
“In our college, fully renovated classrooms equipped with all necessary equipment, laboratories with professional technical means are at the disposal of our students. Smart boards have been installed in the rooms and are equipped with high-speed internet via fiber optic cables. Students can increase their knowledge in both the electronic and traditional libraries in our college. The modern heating system installed in the college building allows our students to study in warm rooms in comfortable conditions during the winter season and cold months. In order for our students to spend their free time effectively, the “Youth House” was built and put into operation. Here, our students can both eat quality food and prepare for their lessons with the help of laptops and high-speed internet,” M. Rzayev added.
According to the director of the college, one of the main goals of the extracurricular Student Youth Organization is to organize special classes for students with the participation of doctors-teachers to instill speech, communication, table manners, clothing, transportation, behavior, food, telephone and other cultures, in addition to preparing professional medical workers with high culture and knowledge, as well as to educate true citizens.
It was noted that the college also considers the issue of providing employment to knowledgeable and skilled graduates who graduated from the educational institution with high marks a priority. It was announced that this year, on graduation day, a job fair will be organized for students at the college with the participation of employers operating in the region.
Then, the opinions and suggestions of the parents were listened to. They, in turn, expressed their gratitude to the head of state for the high conditions created. In general, it was emphasized that in order to educate knowledgeable and skilled medical workers, parents, along with the educational institution, should monitor the good study of their children.
