
Employees of the Ganja Medical College of the Ministry of Health and the Ganja Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held an educational seminar on the topic of “First Aid” at the Ganja Medical College. About 15 representatives of municipalities from Ganja and surrounding regions attended the seminar.
Opening the event with an introductory speech, Civil Defense Staff Engineer of the Ganja Medical College Sevda Abbasova noted the close cooperation between the staff of the college and the Ganja Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and emphasized that the lessons taught by the college’s doctors and teachers on the organization of first aid are always met with interest.
At the seminar, doctor-teacher Gulnara Mustafayeva provided extensive information on first aid for bleeding, trauma, drowning, poisoning, drowning in water, snake bites, burns, epileptic seizures, electric shock and lightning strikes, and bee stings, as well as the application of spiracles. The topics aroused great interest from the audience, and the questions of interest to the participants were answered.
Employees of the Ganja Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Major Rashad Abdullayev, and seminar participants expressed their gratitude to the college administration and medical teachers for the lessons.
