An event was held at the Ganja Medical College of the Ministry of Health on the occasion of the “June 17 – Professional Holiday of Medical Workers” event. After the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played, a minute of silence was observed to commemorate the souls of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and our heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the liberation of our lands.
Delivering the opening speech, the director of the college, Honored Doctor Mehman Rzayev, congratulated the medical workers on the occasion of the professional holiday and wished them success in their future activities. Rzayev noted that the large-scale reforms carried out under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, who continues the strategic policy course set by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, show that our national healthcare system is rapidly modernizing and renewing. Our citizens benefit from the medical services that are developing day by day with the attention and care of the head of state.
Then, speaking, Latif Badalov, a member of the Ganja City Health Workers Trade Union Council, emphasized that in recent years, the strengthening of the material and technical base of medical institutions in Azerbaijan, the introduction of new medical technologies, and personnel reforms have created an opportunity to bring this field to a new level. At the end of the event, honorary certificates and gifts were presented to the employees of the college, including students, who distinguished themselves during their labor activity.
