
Employees of the Ganja Medical College of the Ministry of Health and the Ganja Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held an educational seminar on the topic of “First Aid” at the Ganja Medical College. Representatives of the executive authorities of Ganja and surrounding regions participated in the organized seminar. There were 20 regular listeners at the seminar.
Opening the event with an introductory speech, Civil Defense Staff Engineer of the Ganja Medical College Sevda Abbasova noted the close cooperation between the staff of the college and the Ganja Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and emphasized that the lessons given by the college's medical teachers on the organization of first aid are always listened to with interest.
At the seminar, medical teachers Javahir Garayeva and Yegana Huseynova provided extensive information on first aid for bleeding, trauma, drowning, poisoning, drowning in water, snake bites, burns, epileptic seizures, electric shock and lightning strikes, bee stings, and the use of spiracles. The topics aroused great interest from the audience, and the questions of interest to the participants were answered. Major Rashad Abdullayev, Captain Elchin Mammadov, employees of the Ganja Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and seminar participants expressed their gratitude to the college administration and medical teachers for the lessons.
