In accordance with the Civil Defense Action Plan for the 2025 academic year, a civil defense exercise on warning and gathering of Civil Defense Forces was held at Ganja Medical College on the topic “Activities of non-militarized territorial civil defense forces on warning gathering signals during emergencies”.

The management of the enterprise’s Civil Defense, the Civil Defense Headquarters, the Civil Defense Forces’ personnel were involved in the exercise.

The main purpose of the exercise was to fulfill the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Civil Defense”, to check the compliance of the Civil Defense Forces’ documents with the requirements of the guiding documents, to check the state of the communication and warning system, and to check the readiness of the Civil Defense Forces for warning and gathering when performing the tasks ahead during emergencies. In addition, during the exercise, in accordance with the Civil Defense Forces’ warning scheme, the level of readiness for operational response to emergencies was checked, and the activities of the Civil Defense Forces’ leadership on warning gathering were also checked.

During the civil defense exercise at the college, the command and chief of staff of the Civil Defense Forces, the communications and warning squad are notified at 01.00 according to the warning scheme by the chairman of the emergency commission. The gathering of the personnel of the Civil Defense Forces at the designated place, in the pre-determined area of ​​the college, in accordance with the report, was monitored and the report of the command and chief of staff was listened to.

The chief of staff of the Civil Defense Staff of the college, Sevda Abbasova, conveyed the purpose of the exercise and the relevant order of the director to the participants of the exercise.

In accordance with the exercise plan, a line review was conducted with the Civil Defense Forces of the facility during the exercise, the list of personnel, the presence of equipment deployed on the staff, its working condition were checked, and the rules for its use were demonstrated.

Head of the MM Mehman Rzayev assessed the level of the exercise, noted shortcomings and gave necessary recommendations.
