
An event dedicated to Novruz was held at the Ganja Medical College of the Ministry of Health. According to the information provided by the public relations department of the college, the holiday event organized at the Youth House of the educational institution was attended by Recep Oztop, Consul of the Republic of Turkey in Ganja, Vice-Consul Yigit Yalın Soyal, Director of the college, Honored Doctor Mehman Rzayev, staff of the college and students.
Welcoming the guests, M. Rzayev congratulated everyone on the occasion of Novruz, one of the dearest holidays of the Turkic peoples, and noted that Novruz is a sacred relic that expresses our ancestors' respect for the eternal order of nature. This holiday is a full embodiment of the ancient and rich worldview of our people, an optimistic view of the future, and our national existence as a whole, and occupies an exceptional place in our treasury of cultural wealth. The Novruz traditions, which we have preserved from foreign influences and properly preserved, are a contribution of our people, who always respect their centuries-old past, and at the same time, to human culture.
Then, the guests were presented with a bukhara hat, one of the symbols of Ganja.
The event continued with an artistic part with the participation of students of Ganja Medical College. Azerbaijani songs and dances, musical numbers were enjoyed by the guests.
Finally, Novruz gifts were distributed to the participants of the holiday.
