A conference dedicated to June 15 National Liberation Day was held at the Ganja City Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party. Nagif Hamzayev, the chairman of the YAP Ganja city organization, who opened the conference with his opening speech, spoke about the social, political and historical importance of National Liberation, which was written in golden letters in the history of our nation. He noted that although Azerbaijan gained independence after the collapse of the USSR in 1991, Armenian aggression, the economic crisis and the half-hearted management of unprofessional people who were in power at that time created a danger of losing our independence. And the people felt this danger and turned to their savior, Heydar Aliyev. At the insistence of the people, Heydar Aliyev returned to power for the second time and said that he saved Azerbaijan from a big trouble.

Other speakers, intellectuals, historians and party activists who participated in the conference, as well as hundreds of young people and political like-minded people who joined the conference online, spoke about the importance of the National Liberation Day in the existence of Azerbaijan, thanks to the genius of Heydar Aliyev and his foresight, to strengthen and develop a state that was in danger of falling apart. , they said that it is possible to turn it into one of the states that have a say in the region, both politically and economically. It should be noted that the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, who came to Baku on June 9, 1993 at the insistence of the people, was elected the Chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the Republic of Azerbaijan on June 15. Thus, in Azerbaijan, June 15 is celebrated as the National Liberation Day.
