The winning teams of the knowledge and sports competition dedicated to the 98th anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, held among higher and secondary schools operating in Ganja under the initiative of the New Azerbaijan Party Ganja City Organization, were awarded. MPs representing Ganja and intellectuals participated in the ceremony. The competition started with the participation of the teams of Azerbaijan State Agrarian University, Ganja State University, Azerbaijan Technological University, Ganja Regional College and Ganja Medical College with the intellectual knowledge competition called "Learning the legacy of Heydar Aliyev". Later, the teams tried their hand at chess and table tennis competitions. The team of Ganja State University won the knowledge competition, which was the first competition of the tournament. The team of Ganja Medical College was awarded the 2nd place. The winners of the second organized chess competition were the teams of Ganja State University and Ganja Medical College. The winner of the last match, the table tennis competition, remained unchanged. Prizes were presented to the winners of all three competitions by the chairman of the YAP Ganja City Organization, MP Nagif Hamzayev and other officials who participated in the event. It should be noted that the Ganja City Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party is organizing a series of events in connection with the 98th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
