A conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the Ganja Medical College of the Ministry of Health called "Great Leader and New Azerbaijan Party". The conference began with the singing of the National Anthem of Azerbaijan. Then, the spirit of national leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who died for the freedom of Azerbaijan lands was commemorated with a minute of silence.

The director of the Ganja Medical College with the Minister of Health, honored doctor Mehman Rzayev, who opened the event with an introductory speech, took a look at some of the past of Azerbaijan, which is developing, its economic potential and military power are increasing day by day, in order to preserve the independence of the state in the most difficult and responsible period for Azerbaijan in 1991-92. He stressed that bringing a strong leader who has the ability to bring a nation in a state of chaos and anarchy out of this difficult situation is the main condition. He noted that at that time there was a need to create a new party in Azerbaijan that could win the trust of the people and the love of millions of people and follow his ideas. At that time, the creation of the New Azerbaijan Party was a historical necessity, and it was dictated by the fate of the Azerbaijani people.

"During those difficult years, at a time when chaos prevailed, when there was a confused situation in the country, fratricide, and a time when there was a fear of the country's disintegration, very serious steps should be taken in the direction of the development of all areas, and to a determined phenomenal personality who was able to take on the burden of restoring and preserving statehood. there was a great need. Strengthening the ideology of statehood, developing the ideology of national statehood and realizing it required strong political will and skills for those times. Heydar Aliyev was the only person who could properly cope with them," added Mehman Rzayev.

Bayram Aslanov, the chairman of YAP Ganja city organization, who spoke later, noted that holding the founding conference of the New Azerbaijan Party on November 21, 1992 was not a random event, it was created by the will of the people, which can save the country from this chaos and lead Azerbaijan to a bright future. was a political party:

"During those difficult years, the people saw the way to salvation only in the historical return of Heydar Aliyev to power. At that time, 91 people addressed an appeal to Azerbaijani intellectual Nakhchivan, Great Leader Heydar Aliyev. This appeal was a call of the people of Azerbaijan as a whole. In that application, Heydar Aliyev was asked to lead the newly formed party - the New Azerbaijan Party. The formation of the name of the party could also be considered as the result of the political world view of a genius. The Great Leader founded the New Azerbaijan Party in order to build New Azerbaijan, to lead it to a happy future, to build a developed independent state today, and this party won the great respect and sympathy of the people," added B. Aslanov.

The speakers also talked about the fateful decisions made by national leader Heydar Aliyev for the sustainable development of Azerbaijan. It was noted that even today the New Azerbaijan Party, as the ruling party, always thinks of the interests of the people, supports the political course of the leader of the party, the worthy follower of the Great Leader, Ilham Aliyev, in making fateful decisions in the direction of improving the welfare of citizens.
