Ganja Medical College held an event on November 8 - Victory Day
On November 5, an event was held in Ganja Medical College in connection with November 8 - Victory Day. The meeting was attended by Sura Musayeva, mother of martyr Askerov Ilkin Rauf oghlu, brother of war participant Askerov Elchin Rauf oghlu, veteran - Musayev Choshgun Azer oghlu, first year student of Ganja Medical College, war participant Hadiyev Ibrahim Mahir oghlu and other guests. The event began with a one-minute silence commemoration of the souls of our martyrs who died for the freedom of Karabakh.
Mehman Rzayev, director of the college, congratulated the event participants and our people on the occasion of Victory Day, written in golden letters in the history of Azerbaijan. He noted that the Patriotic War, which started on September 27 last year and lasted for 44 days, ended with the glorious Victory of Azerbaijan under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. Within the framework of military operations, the Azerbaijani Army defeated the armed forces of the occupying Armenia during 30 years and achieved a great victory thanks to a strong army strategy, national unity and the enthusiasm of our fighters.
"The Patriotic War was written in golden letters on the brightest page of our history. This historical victory became the pride and source of pride of the Azerbaijani people. In 44 days, the people united tightly around their leader - the victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, turned into an "Iron Fist" and demonstrated their strength, determination and struggle to the whole world. Our army on the battlefields, our diplomats in the political arena, and our media representatives in the information war gave worthy answers to the enemy. During the war and later, the interviews of Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, who conveyed the true voice of Azerbaijan to the whole world, did not allow our enemies to cast a shadow over our deserved victory. This historic victory made it possible for us to be proud of being a victorious nation," Mehman Rzayev emphasized in his speech.
Mehman Rzayev also added that in those difficult moments, when the wounded were brought to all medical institutions, the students of Ganja Medical College should have been left out. About 30 students, who will become nurses in the future, participated day and night in providing medical aid to our wounded in various hospitals.
Then Sura Musayeva, the mother of martyr Askerov Ilkin Rauf oghlu, spoke at the event. She noted that, like the mother of all martyred children, she is proud of her son and other martyrs.
Gazi Musayev Joshgun Azer oglu, who spoke at the meeting, recalled those days and talked about the battles of Shusha. Although he noted that the war was heavy and with losses, he added that even though he lost an eye and still had shrapnel wounds on his body, he felt a great sense of pride after the historic victory. Gazi prayed for God's mercy to his brothers who were martyred in the Victory War, written in golden letters in the history of Azerbaijan. He noted that our fighting people, united as an "Iron Fist" around the victorious Commander-in-Chief, showed all their skills and abilities in this war, and fought until the end, braving all difficulties to destroy the enemies.
Then other speakers also noted that the great Victory won thanks to the wise policy of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev and the bravery of our glorious Army, at the same time, the close unity of our people around the "iron fist" regardless of their religion and nationality, the love of our youth for the Motherland, It was achieved thanks to the unity of the people and the army.
In the end, students of the college performed an artistic composition dedicated to Victory Day.
