A city-wide event was held in Ganja on the 30th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.

This year, as every year, our people honor the memory of the victims of the Khojaly genocide. It should be noted that the memorial day of the Khojaly genocide has become a symbol of the unity and national bigotry of the Azerbaijani people.

It is already the second year that our people have been visiting the Khojaly Genocide monument with open foreheads, because the enemy took revenge on the victims of the Khojaly Genocide, like all our martyrs. As President Ilham Aliyev said: "We answered them on the battlefield, we avenged all our martyrs, their blood did not remain on the ground."

The teaching and student staff of Ganja Medical College participated in the event, laid flowers in front of the "Khojaly Genocide" monument, commemorated the victims of the genocide with a minute of silence, and prayed for the souls of the martyrs.
