On 12.05.2022, students of Ganja Medical College organized a conference on the occasion of International Nurses Day.

Today, each of us is obliged to thank the owners of humanitarian professions for their noble deeds.

Sisters of compassion who have received primary medical education are professionals who communicate with patients the most during the treatment and follow the instructions of the doctor or paramedic.

As a service worker who fulfills the doctor's orders, they have great responsibilities to help the patients recover and return to normal life.

Communicating with the patient, giving injections, checking blood pressure and other tasks are the responsibility of the nurse. It is also worth mentioning that the students of Ganja Medical College voluntarily took part in the fight against the new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, as well as during the Patriotic War, with their experience and professionalism, outstanding personal qualities and determination.

Currently, special attention is paid to the training of professional nurses in our country, and measures are taken to increase their knowledge and skills.

During its operation, Ganja Medical College, which has trained tens of thousands of secondary medical workers for the health care institutions of our Republic, currently trains students in the fields of Medicine, Midwifery, Medical prophylaxis, Laboratory diagnostics, Orthopedic dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing.

Today in our college we have laboratories for almost all majors. Orthopedic dentistry that can meet high standards, laboratory diagnostics, medical prophylaxis laboratories, robotic trainer training center imparts knowledge and skills that can be used in modern medicine to our students. In order to become professional mid-skilled medical personnel of the future, they were given the opportunity to perform practical operations on a robot along with theoretical knowledge. Thus, in this center, students learn how to insert bladder and vein catheters, intubation, perform electrocardiograms, and use a defibrillator. This will help them grow as professional medical staff in the future.

We hope that our students will make full use of all the opportunities created for the students of Ganja Medical College and grow up as knowledgeable, skilled, and educated medical personnel and in the future they will be able to serve the citizens as true professionals not only in Azerbaijan, but also outside the borders of our country.
