A series of events were held in the city of Ganja in connection with September 27 - Memorial Day. The administration of Ganja Medical College of the Ministry of Health, the team of doctors and teachers also participated in the commemoration ceremony, visited the graves of our soldiers who died for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and laid flowers in front of the Martyrs' Monument.

 The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed by the military orchestra.

 It was reported at the event that in order to prevent the next military aggression of Armenia against Azerbaijan, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan started a counter-offensive operation along the entire front under the leadership of the Supreme Commander from September 27, 2020. It was reported that during the 44-day Patriotic War, the city of Ganja gave 122 martyrs, 96 of them military and 26 civilians. At the ceremony, schoolchildren sang poems on the theme of patriotism, and the priest recited prayers for the souls of the martyrs of the Patriotic War.
