Niyazi Bayramov, the head of the Ganja City Executive Authority, Zeki Öztürk, the Turkish Consul General in Ganja, families of martyrs and participants of the Patriotic War, including the director of the Ganja Medical College, Mehman Rzayev, doctors and teaching staff and students took part in the event held in the Martyrs' Alley of Ganja.

44 Turkish veterans from the Republic of Turkey were guests at the event organized in Martyrs' Alley.

The city-wide event dedicated to November 8 - Victory Day was declared open with the singing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Later, the dear memory of our martyrs who died for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a minute of silence.

Later, wreaths and bunches of flowers were arranged in front of the monument that perpetuates the memory of the Martyrs.

Poems dedicated to the memory of our martyrs were sung.

At the end of the event, the graves of the martyrs were visited.
