On December 28, a year-end meeting was held at Ganja Medical College. The director of the college, honored doctor Mehman Rzayev, who opened the event with an introductory speech, noted that the year 2022 will be remembered as the year of development and innovation in the history of the educational institution. He said that, as in the last 5 years, the plans and tasks set in Ganja Medical College have been fulfilled:

             "In accordance with the tasks of the head of the country regarding the organization and reconstruction of healthcare in Azerbaijan, the level of medicine and medical education in our country has increased significantly in the year we started. The Ministry of Health regularly takes necessary measures to take continuous measures in this direction and this process continues. Last year can be considered successful for our college. As in previous years, in 2022, a lot of work has been done to improve technical support and, as a result, to raise the level of education in Ganja Medical College. In the new laboratories created in the last 5 years, our requirements have already gained the opportunity to acquire medical knowledge using technical means. It is very gratifying that in the last academic year, the number of our excellent students was 146, which is significantly more than in previous years. Last year, Turkish students visited our college as part of the experience exchange program. They expressed their satisfaction with the conditions created here. In addition to quality education, "Medical Colleges drug applications teacher training program" and "Basic Life Support" trainings were conducted by the training doctors of Ganja Medical College. In our college, scientific and practical conferences on "Speech culture, Table culture, Transport culture, Behavior culture and other topics" were organized for students. Last year, we continued our work in the direction of international relations, and cooperation with the relevant institutions of the Ministry of Health in this direction was further expanded. As a continuation of the work started next year, we will try to implement a number of projects that should be completed next year. Our main goal is to become a college that can meet international standards in the field of medical education," added M. Rzayev.

             Then, according to the decision of the Scientific Council of Ganja Medical College, a group of teachers and students were awarded. Honorary decrees were presented to those awarded the titles of "Best teacher of the year", "Best student of the year", "Excellent student of the year", "Most active student of the year" among them. In addition, veterans of the Second Karabakh War studying at Ganja Medical College were awarded a one-time monetary award according to the council's decision, and one Veteran of the Second Karabakh War will be provided with an additional scholarship every month during the year.

A group of employees, distinguished by their activity in the social life of the college, was highly appreciated by the management and they were also awarded with a letter of appreciation.

In the end, gratitude was expressed to Emin Efendiyev, Chairman of the Republican Committee of Azerbaijan Health Workers Trade Union, Ganja City Health Workers Trade Union Council Chairman Güler Suleymanova and Ganja Medical College Workers Trade Union Council Chairman Leyla Ismayilova.
